Strategy and Approach

CEN began by providing targeted support to the school’s governing board, helping refine its conflict-of-interest policies and strengthening compliance with Florida charter school laws. The team facilitated training and consultation that gave the board the tools to manage complex issues while improving transparency and communication. When parent concerns arose, CEN served as a neutral and trusted voice, ensuring families felt heard and helping the school develop smoother communication channels.

As the school expanded, CEN guided staff through a major relocation, coordinating with the Florida Department of Education, contractors, and community partners to manage every aspect of the transition. This included reviewing staffing plans, instructional models, and ESE compliance processes, as well as providing input on facilities, safety, and team-building initiatives. Throughout the process, CEN maintained close collaboration with school leaders, bringing both a fresh perspective and deep expertise to every challenge.

Results

Through this multi-year partnership, the school achieved lasting improvements in governance, compliance, and operations. The relocation was completed successfully, allowing the school to expand its capacity and serve more students in a safe, fully compliant facility. CEN’s guidance helped transform crisis-level challenges into structured systems that support long-term stability. The school’s improved communication with parents reduced conflict and built stronger community trust, while enhanced curriculum development and professional training empowered staff to deliver higher-quality instruction.

By aligning with the founder’s vision for an ABA-based charter school dedicated to students with autism, CEN helped the organization grow into a thriving, sustainable educational environment. The school’s leaders continue to credit CEN’s expertise, responsiveness, and collaborative approach as key factors in their ongoing success.
